Hey folks

This is a bit of a monster mail for us so please read on for some interesting stuff going down…

*Poems In Stone* are set to record a new album over the next few weeks with a release date scheduled in October. For those who have been with onec for a few months you may remember the very limited 10” lathe cut we put out by *Poems In Stone* back in September 2010 that sold out immediately. We are continuing our working relationship but are in desperate need of getting some funds together to help pay for the expenses of the new album.

So we have come up with a pre-order special! For the sum of £20 you will get a copy of the album (12” vinyl in a hand finished sleeve with a woodcut print), a CD of bonus material and a very limited print (30 x 36cm sheet size with full margins on 310gsm acid free archival paper) by *Matt Lord*, the genius behind *Poems In Stone*, and signed by Matt and the other participants. These pre-orders are limited to only 20. If you are interested please get in touch.

*Poems in Stone* - Membranes

There is a line that walks between us in mixed attitude of 'praising the otherness' and perhaps more simply 'giving voice to voids'. Poems in Stone accepts the dualistic journey in action threefold and purpose only cubiform. Presenting in auxiliary bodies each a Lunar side selection of songs sans narrative to be met, skinned and worn in parallel to ''Psychoduct'' the Solar side homage to Mayan King and visionary Pacal Votan.

Tracklisting, recording & personnel details.

Lunar Side

1. Silver Umbilical 2. Plain Arrow Of The Naked Arc 3. House Inside The Life Unlived

4. Dissolving Song 5.The River Is 6. Cone Of Ash 7. City At The End

Solar side:

1. Psychoduct

The ‘Solar’ side will be recorded at the University of Plymouth on the 13th/14th June, with the ‘Lunar’ side and mixing of the whole album to be done somewhere in Brittany, France in July. Recording duties are been handled by ex BBC sound wizard Richard Douglas-Green

The Players:

Mike McInerney on shakuhachi and analogue synth who is a profound contemporary composer in his own right with training in Japanese calligraphy and surfing.

Alice Kemp on trombone who is a multi talented siren, one third of the genius-trio Uniform and as her solo incarnation, Germseed, is more than a force to be reckoned with by any deity.

Joey Chainsaw on guitar who is the equivalent of a nuclear tidal-wave through an amp, very present on the underground, prolific maker of deep saturating noise that transcends and then transcends.

The *Head Of Programmes* 12” EP *Spring*, on white vinyl you know, will be shipping in two weeks and you can still pre-order it here, limited to 125 copies (screen printed gatefold sleeve w/ photograph and insert). They have a couple of great shows coming up:

*Head Of Programmes* / *Goodwin Sands* (Netherlands)

Jack Chams, Plymouth, Sunday 19th June.

*Damnably Goodfest 2* – Summer Alldayer w/ Your New Friend, Bastard Sword, Monster Island and a whole load of others at The Windmill, London, Sunday 3rd July. (absolute steal at £6)

We also have only around 25 copies left of the *Dirty Protest* / *Population* split 10”, insanely *Population* were recently unveiled as joint winners of the Nachtmahr (those crazy Austrian industrial-ists) remix contest, ‘Can You Feel The Beat’. *Population’s* remix will be featuring on a Nachtmahr release very soon, not bad for a bunch of sweaty punks from Hull! More info on the contest here.
