We're proud as punch to release the SCRATCHCARD LUNG - Death Of The Cool C58 cassette!

Edition of 60. 25 track album from one of Glasgow’s most original bands. Recorded in their flat in Pollokshields in July 2012 by Steevin Cossar, and following on from their recent release on Winning Sperm Party these recordings capture the duo, Gaz and Simon, in blistering and genial form. With song titles such as Cheryl Gets Malaria, That’ll Be Twelve Quid and Stabbed, Snubbed & Snookered you get a cultural commentary blasted at you with sardonic wit and super tight musical efficiency.

For a bit of historical context both Gaz and Simon were in Lummox, an infamous group of anarchist, crusty activist-types who used to play loud and chaotic gigs around Glasgow in the late 1990s/ early 2000s. Gaz was also one of the founding members of Gummy Stumps and also played in a local supergroup featuring members of Bangtwister, Gummy Stumps and Macrocosmica who were 2 bass, drums and spoken word and were amazingly named, 'Bubblewrap Holocaust'.
